There are not many regions in the world that haven’t been colonised by snakes and other reptiles. Snakes are even found in cities, although it is only the friendlier ones that usually survive human wrath. However, if you want to look for a few of the more uncommon snakes, you could look in parks and fields, on beaches or in rivers and ponds and even in the sea, depending on where you live, of course, as sea snakes are inclined to inhabit warmer, tropical waters.
You will have to be very alert and train your eyes to notice even the smallest movement. Wear clothing of dull, drab colours and move slowly, stopping often to listen for movement in the grass or bushes. In the beginning, you will have many false hopes, until you learn to tell the difference between the sounds of the different animals that live or hunt in the grass.
Snakes are difficult to find. Most of the adventurous snakes get killed by frightened (and often ignorant) humans, but a good tip is to look for relatively damp areas in arid regions and, conversely, dry spots in damp areas. Look for where their prey might congregate. For example, near water for toads and frogs. Watch for frightened lizards or birds fleeing for their lives. And listen for geckos warning each other of the presence of a predator.
If you need to move anything, at least don’t damage it and furthermore, ensure you put it back as you found it. Two useful tools while out looking for snakes and other reptiles are binoculars (for tree snakes) and a snake-hook, which should also be used for moving bits of debris so that you don’t risk getting bitten by a snake or stung by a scorpion. A camera, a torch and a notebook and pen are more or less essential, depending on how seriously you treat your interest in herpetology.
You could also take a rule or tape to measure your specimens and a few plastic bags and boxes to hold them while you are doing so. Do not kill anything and do not take anything home with you either! Apart from it not being right to wander into their territory and cause mayhem, it is often contrary to the law too. Be very wary of picking up any snake that you cannot definitely identify as non-venomous. You could be miles from anywhere and will probably not have anti-venom with you. Since many snakes can kill within 30 minutes, you would probably die.
In summary, go looking for snakes by all means, but take it easy and slowly and wear inconspicuous clothing. Moreover, wear strong, hiking-style boots to give you some protection where you are most vulnerable and do not move anything unnecessarily. Take a snake-hook to move things if you need to; a tape, torch, camera, notebook and pen to record your experience and/or findings and a few clear plastic receptacles in case you feel that you have to pick something up.
I hope you really enjoy your search for snakes and other reptiles, but always keep in mind that snakes are not friendly and they are definitely not pets, so be wary of snake bites especially if your search is not taking place in the gardens of a hospital!

Men and women alike get emotional when they watch certain types of movies and shows. Movies have a way of affecting the way we feel. They can stimulate unpleasant thoughts of the past or inspire us with hope for the future.
A typical romance movie can mean different things to different people. While a scene in one movie may cause a person to remember the day they fell in love, it may cause another to think back to the day when their troubles in life all began. Movies plots and scenes have an emotional connection to our past.
Some love and romance stories are based on real life events. The circumstances surround the plots are very similar to the circumstances people face today. Though the scenes and locations of the story may vary, the conditions such as meeting a new person for the first time on a cruise ships are all the same.
The same can be said of true crime stories. I am a big fan of Dateline MBC and every now and then they will do a show on stolen cars. Whenever I watch episodes like those, I am reminded of the day when my own vehicle was stolen and it brings out deep seeded anger. I love it when car thieves are caught.
Horror films take me back to the days when I was a child. When I watch a scary film such as Boogeyman, I can still remember the days when as a child I hated the thought of leaving my bedroom closet door slightly cracked open. Today, I still feel the same way.
There is nothing better than watching a good comedy movie. Sometimes laughter is the best medicine. A good funny movie has the tendency briefly change the things we focus on. When you are watching a comedy, you tend to forgot about all the serious things going on in your life.
What kind of movies do you like to watch? The type of movies you watch says a great deal about you. People are attracted to certain genres of movies based on a set of particular sociological and psychological characteristics they have acquired as a child. These characteristics are what shaped us and is what causes us to define what we like and dislike in life.
Movies will always have a place in the American way of life. They will continue to make us laugh and sometimes cause us to shed a tear or two. Either way, movies have the power to make us reflect on what is considered important and to muse over what has been less significant as we watch one movie at a time.

Our pets share the same instinct that we as humans have. We have an innate reaction to a threat that we have been born with. It’s a flee, flight or fight reaction to a dangerous situation; real or perceived.
An automatic reaction to a fearful situation is a trait we are born with. Our dogs are the same and they experience some of the same reactions as we do. Abnormal behaviors displayed in your dog, over time, can be changed.
Your dog can exhibit symptoms of anxiety in ways such as excessive barking, uncontrollable urination or whining. These are triggered by either visible stresses or separation. The most common stress a dog experiences is separation anxiety.
Loud, sudden noises like fireworks or thunder claps can cause your dog anxiety. Your dog might have a phobia which can be described as a unjustifiable fear of sudden sounds. Dogs can be trained to “unlearn” this behavior by observing signs of the onset of this patterned behavior and stopping it.
The older your dog gets the more he might experience anxiety to separation. Memory loss and loss of thinking can cause these reactions to being alone. Dogs between 12 and 36 months are beginning to socially develop which is when these anxieties typically will begin. Withdrawal or severe fear is normal in pups between 8 and 10 months.
Some signs that your dog might be suffering some phobias or anxieties can vary. Tails tucked, withdrawn behavior or trembling can be identified as signs of mild fear. Some fears and anxieties are hard to diagnosis due to no identifiable stimulus.
What causes your dog to develop these conditions? Illness or a physical condition that causes pain can contribute to the development of phobias, fears or anxiety. Puppies not given proper social exposure until the age of 14 weeks may become fearful.
Many abandoned dogs who are adopted out by a new family will suffer from separation anxiety. Dogs coming from abusive situations might have fear phobias. These precious animals need a lot of love and positive reinforcement and can eventually live happy lives.
As with any issue concerning our pets, we do suggest that you visit your veterinarian for a proper diagnosis when possible. Some dogs affected might respond to behavioral modifications but it’s not a guarantee. Many of these behavioral issues can be treated with medication but those sometimes can take up to 2 weeks to take effect.

The Minnesota Twins’ diminishing playoff aspirations took another hit Tuesday when it was announced that All-Star 1B Justin Morneau will be sidelined the remainder of the year.
Morneau has been fighting back pain for weeks, but a CT scan along with an MRI on Monday revealed that he has a crack in his lower back.
The condition doesn’t figure to need surgery. Physicians have informed Morneau to relax the back for the next 3 month|fall season.
Morneau wounded himself on a headfirst slide into 1st base on Friday and hasn’t yet played ever since.
Before last week’s accident, the slugging 1st baseman had previously been playing through pain off and on for a good deal of time. Accordingly, his numbers have declined mightily; Morneau was hitting just .077 in the current month to lower his 2009 batting average to .274. Before this slump, he had been batting above the .300 figure. Having gotten only 9 hits over a duration of 22 games, it was clear that something was wrong.
“You can play with the discomfort if you feel as if you are helping the team or doing things to help your teammates out and victory contests,” Morneau insisted. “When you go out there and you don’t feel as if you are helping everyone, that is when you have to take a step back and say, ‘Okay, perhaps I’m doing more harm than good.’ ”
Despite his struggles of late, Morneau finishes the 2009 season with 30 homers and one hundred RBIs. The home run total is higher than his ‘08 total of 23.
Michael Cuddyer figures to turn out to be the primary 1st baseman in Morneau’s lack.
Despite the injury, Morneau remains positive regarding the Twins’ chances the rest of the season.
“Hopefully I’ll watch the guys go on a run here and act as cheerleader and that is about it,” Morneau said.

The latest rumor has it that the Los Angeles Clippers are looking at Carlos Arroyo and making an effort to acquire him. Arroyo would be a serviceable backup to Baron Davis, and it looks like this Clippers team is serious about making an impact in the 09-10 basketball season.
There’s still speculation that Arroyo’s camp may have prompted these rumors. After all, if LA looks interested, perhaps the Celtics or the Bulls would offer him a higher contract in response.
Arroyo’s NBA career previously spanned with the Jazz and the Magic, before he left two years ago to play basketball in Israel. Arroyo saw success during his time there, as he helped Macabbi Tel Aviv to another title, and was even named the team’s most valuable player during the finals.
As a Clipper, Arroyo would back up Baron Davis, but it raises a question about the role of Sebastian Telfair and the Clippers’ interest in him. Telfair, once extremely hyped around the league, has failed to come through on the potential the Timberwolves (and many others) believed he had.
The biggest concern in the past that teams have had about Arroyo is not his playing ability, but more so the chemistry he brings to (or takes away from) a team.
Having played for both Stan Van Gundy in Orlando and Jerry Sloan with the Jazz, Arroyo had problems getting along with both coaches. Many NBA coaches may be inclined to stay away from him as a result.
Despite this all, Arroyo showed great sportsmanship in Tel Aviv, and many believe it served as a valuable learning experience for him. This has increased the appeal of Arroyo with teams in need of a point guard.
Since the Clippers had previously been setting their hopes on Ramon Sessions (formerly of the Bucks), it looks like Arroyo becomes all the more valuable to the team. Sessions, who just opted to play in Minnesota, is no longer available, making Arroyo stand out some more in the slim pool of available point guards.

With economic systems world-wide in an awful state, numerous people are anxious to make ends meet. It is not only that the price of living is still raising for a lot people; it is also a problem that the bottom has fallen out of the credit market, the stock market, and the real estate market in most countries around the world.
The crash of the stock market – if we can get away with calling it that – of 2008 spoiled lots of people’s retirement funds, that’s not to mention their so called savings and investments for every day living. As things settle down after this catastrophe, yet, there is still a question of – what could we all in reality do to make money and then regain our financial security in this current climate?
Lotto’s might not be the obvious response to this question but they are not bad one either. If you play lotto’s with an idea to win – manipulating the odds in your favor and otherwise controlling how you play – you will have a pretty good shot at making regular money from lotto winnings.
There is, all the same, a couple of very specific rules to observe, the first of which is that you almost certainly not win a lottery (the chances are millions to one, and yes, you are more apt to get hit by lightening) if you play by yourself. If you play as a member of a syndicate, however, these ludicrously long odds turn on their head and you will have, instead of a unfavorable shot, a somewhat good shot of winning something – that’s not necessarily the lottery jackpot but then, anything – on a frequent basis, not just draw to draw but week to week.
Lotteries, as an investment tool, function really much in the same way as the stock market and sports betting (the intelligent kind). By a meticulous careful review and assessment of potential outcomes (the numbers selected and the combination of the selections) you may significantly better your individual prospects of succeeding not simply a small amount, but one of the bigger prizes, even maybe the lottery jackpot.
As an investment tool, being part of a lottery syndicate and then playing regularly in lottery draws is a useful and extremely lucrative option for a really high return on investment. These days, it’s in all probability a better approach to investing than purchasing shares on the stock market at this time.
Amongst all the lotto syndicates operating nowadays, E-Lottery leads the way with its specific and extremely effective strategy for playing in 2 major lotteries on a weekly basis. The Elottery syndicate system was founded in the year of 2002 and it presents a devised achievable system that produces more frequent cash wins than any other lottery syndicate to date.
Now, Elottery has placed itself as the proven Internet-based lottery provider to lead the governmental lotto industry into the e-commerce market. It utilizes the latest in online technologies to offer new and existing lotto products world-wide. By addressing numerous intricate and legal issues, elottery has become the largest professional syndicate in today’s lottery market.
If you want strong betting odds and the chance of a higher return, then joining up to a lottery syndicate like E-lottery and using it to invest your money is a really great way to go;
Elottery employs the most up-to-date in internet technologies to offer new and present lotto products world-wide. e-lottery has become the largest professional Elottery in today’s lotto market.

Brett Favre revealed to reporters today that he could bear a broken rib.
Realize, no one from the team health department has insistedconfirmed this, and the diagnosis is not official, Brett merely believes it hurts a awful horrible bunch, and is a big bother.
Soon after, analysts revealed that he was, then again, scheduled to play the first two quarters of the Vikings’ contest against the Houston Texans. In related reports, I might break my own rib seeing this ego-maniacal loser try to play a youthful guy’s sport with his ancient body.
Honestly, why might a qb make an injury resembling that acknowledged to any person, not to mention everybody? You’d think he may keep that sort of incident quiet, so he wouldn’t be hit with some helmets to the midsection, or unwarranted cruelty from defending players who thrive on this type of information. But if you thought that you would be wrong. Probably since you’d be wondering what most quarterbacks might carry out in a situation where they believed they may possess a fractured rib.
However you must bear in mind, this is Brett “Please Tell About Me A little Extra” Favre now. By means of leaking this must-be-secret (if essentially it’s yet accurate) realization with reference to himself he not only gets to be in even additional news stories, but he also gets to have an explanation for stinking very bad when the spotlight is centered entirely on Favre and him alone. If by some wonder he does do skillfully, then he could play the “brave” tag and be a maverick and a hero or a Maverick or some nonsense like that. Predictable Favre manners in my opinion. The more grown-up he becomes, the more he regresses. At 40 he’ll have the demeanor of a teenager. It doesn’t add up to me, but that’s the way it works I guess.
Here is to loads and heaps of failures.

It was a game without velocity yesterday due to the giant precipitation break in the middle of the match. Jeremy Sowers was pitching like a fringe pitcher when the rainfall ended his start after 4.two innings and 77 pitches.
He was spreading hits while being responsible for 2 earned runs. The team was down 2-1 when the precipitation delay started. The Tribe did their damage following the delay in the 6th inning. Peralta was K’ed, Valbuena had a base hit, and LaPorta singled following him to put men on 1st and 2nd.
LaPorta had four hits in four at bats with a two bagger to raise his batting average to .296. Marte batted after that and belted the squad to a victory.
With two strikes against him, Marte did the good task of running the count. He hit one away and then let pass two balls prior to slapping one past the right field corner for a triple.
To me, Andy Marte is a conundrum. This year is either a rarity or it is all beginning to come together for the young player who is only in his younger seasons for a baseball player.
Is he finally starting to get it, or is it real and downright not real? I won’t pretend to be a bright enough MLB guy in terms of evaluating skill to tell the Indians what they must do. On the other hand, I am unswervingly prone to a bettor’s opinion of fundamentally any scenario.
My gambler’s intuition with Travis Hafner was that it happened to be a wonderful idea to lock that man up. How did I carry out on that bet? On the other hand, each of these wagers on ability exists in a vacuum. By that I denote, you musn’t possibly assume anything about wagering on Marte because we missed so generously on Hafner.
Karma is an exciting philosophy to ponder about, but ultimately it only comes out when you believe you see it and when you are creating self-fulfilling prophecies. I suppose at this interval of the game, noting how much attention Marte has cost the Indians by now, I would try to swap this muddling stock while it has a momentary high point.
Clearly, he may go on to his next team to develop into a dynamic player, but you really need to hope whatever you drag back in return is yet more fruitful.
